In-House EAP Counselor

Arizona employees now have the option of meeting with an in-house Mayo EAP mental health counselor. There is no cost, it is a confidential meeting and EAP is not part of the medical or human resource record.  The counselor will assess the issue or primary concern and, if appropriate, will offer up to eight sessions to address a wide array of life concerns. This service is part of the Mayo Rochester EAP started by the Rochester in-house EAP over 30 years ago.

Headspace Care (formerly Ginger) has been upgraded to Headspace EAP

About

In 2022, Mayo Clinic launched a successful pilot program, formerly called Ginger, and now known as Headspace Care. With this transition, Headspace will replace Vital Worklife as your new EAP starting November 1, 2024. If you are utilizing Vital Worklife services, you will be able to do so until December 31, 2024.

How to Access Headspace EAP

  • If you previously had an account with Ginger or Headspace Care, you will receive an email with instructions to upgrade to Headspace EAP.
  • For additional help, reach out to Headspace’s Member Support team at teamsupport@headspace.com

The Rochester Mayo Clinic EAP offers no cost, confidential counseling to Rochester based employees and employees who reside in MN, qualified dependents, and Mayo health science students. Counselors provide short-term counsel for a variety of life issues. The EAP also provides referrals to community resources and serves as a resource to leadership.
