Employee / Occupational Health (OHS)

About
Employee Occupational Health Services (OHS) strives to optimize the health and well-being of Mayo Clinic employees to support a productive workforce that provides the highest quality of care of our patients.

Employee Occupational Health (OHS) works collaboratively with the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), local Human Resources (HR) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) teams as well as Recovery and Claims Services (RCS) and Safety to ensure that Mayo Clinic employees are able to do their work safely and productively. Rochester OHS provides case management for employees struggling with significant mental health or substance abuse issues that impact their work.  OHS receives work status reports from the treating provider to ensure appropriate work restrictions are in place.  OHS is also responsible for facilitating compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and other requirements mandated by state and federal law.
